Cancellation Policy

In low season (September to May)

For 1 night:

  • If you cancel more than 72 hours before your check-in or within 24 hours after booking, you will be refunded 100% of the total amount.
  • If you cancel less than 72 hours before your check-in, it is non-refundable

For 2 or more nights:

  • If you cancel more than 72 hours before your check-in or within 24 hours after booking, you will be refunded 100% of the total amount.
  • If you cancel between 72 hours and 24 hours before your check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the total amount.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before your check-in, it is non-refundable.

 

    In high season (June to August)

    • For all stays:
      • If you cancel more than 14 days before your check-in or within 24 hours after booking, you will be refunded 100% of the total amount.
      • If you cancel within 7-14 days before your check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the total amount.
      • If you cancel less than 7 days before your check-in, the total amount is non-refundable.
    • Cancellation policy (non-refundable rate)
      – No refunds will be made, regardless of the duration, date or extraordinary situation. No exception will be made.
    • A credit can be given to special cases.
    • COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS: In the event that the government does not authorize travel to our area, you will receive a credit to move your reservation within 6 months of the original date or a 100% refund.
    Check-in and Check-out

    You will receive a text message at 1:00pm. on the day of your arrival with your room number, access informations and other details about your stay. 

    • Check-in begins at 4:00 pm.
    • Check-out time is 11:00 am.
    Front desk

    To minimized contacts and protect our guests and staff we opted for a self-service front desk. Which means no staff at check in. You will receive access informations by text message.

    At the front desk you can find towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, coffee machines and more.

    Will I be charged extra for extra people in my room?

    No, we charge per night per room, and not per person.

    Animals

    Unfortunatley we do not accept animals. We know that some of your fur babies are exceptional well behaved little creatures, but we cannot make any exceptions.

    Do we serve breakfast?

    We do not serve breakfast. We no longer have a restaurant on site. We have a very well equipped communal kitchen with everything you need to make a delicious meal, except the chef and the food.

    Then in high season only (June 23 to September 6), the Authentic restaurant will offer the possibility to all our customers to go there for lunch.

    Need to call the day before to reserve Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 am to 9:00 am

    Open to the public on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and Sundays from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
    You can go there without reservation.

    Open for dinner every evening by reservation only.

    What to eat?

    You will have access to a shared kitchen. It is equipped with a stove, oven, pots and pans, utensils, plates, glasses, microwave, toaster and toaster oven.

    Coffee makers are also available at the reception desk to bring to your room.

    Each room has a small bar fridge and a dining table.

    The village convenience store is open and you will find several prepared meals there.

    The restaurant L’Authentique next to us is at your disposal and also offers take-out meals at all times.

    Then in high season only (June 23th to September 6th) The Authentic restaurant will offer the possibility to all our customers to go there for lunch.

    Do we have TVs?

    We no longer have televisions in the bedrooms. The river and the many outdoor activities will provide entertainment during your stay.

    Which rooms have a nice view of the river?

    All rooms have a beautiful view of the river.

    What is included in the room?

    All our cozy rooms have a bathroom (WC and shower, some have a bathtub as well) and a mini-fridge.

    What is included in the Tiny House?

    It has a double bed, a small table with two chairs, a shelf to store your items and a small fridge. You also have access to a picnic table nearby to enjoy a good meal with a glass of wine as the sun sets. And best of all! The shelter has a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River. The toilet and shower are located in the reception area.

    The tiny house is not available between october-mai. 

    The Camping

    How does the camping work?

    We only have ready-to-camp tents, you cannot pitch your own tent.

    What's included with the tent?

    The tents are equipped with a double size bed all prepared and ready to go.

    Paying for a tent also include all the auberge amenities such as the communal kitchen, dinning room, lounge, bathrooms with showers and pool.

    You will NOT have access to a freezer or fridge, bring your own cooler if needed.

    Does the campsite include services?

    No. There is no water or electricity directly on the campsite.

    You can access services in the communal spaces.

    Can I bring my car into the camping site?

    No, it is not possible to bring your car into the camping site because neither the road or the camping site are prepared for vehicles.

    If you have a lot of things with you, ask our staff for help, we will gladly help you.

    Is it pet friendly?

    We do NOT accept pets.

    Van Life

    How do the van sites work?

    You will be designated a spot in the parking lot where you can relax and enjoy our amazing view. NO services such as water and electricity.

    Does the van sites include services?

    No. There is no water or electricity directly on the van sites.

    You can access services in the communal spaces or use outdoor outlets.

    Is there a maximum size?

    Yes, the maximum lenght is 23feet.

    What amenities do we have access to?

    Include all of the auberge amenities such as the communal kitchen, dinning room, lounge, bathrooms with showers and the pool.

    Is it pet friendly?

    We accept pets on a leash at all time and strictly outdoor, NOT in the auberge communal spaces, rooms or tents. You must clean up after your pet.
